This July product update for MyKid included adding sunscreen/sun-factor tracking options for tour groups and kindergartens, plus a better calendar view for scheduling parent meetings. There was also some interface improvements and minor bug fixes to make the app more stable.

1. Tour groups can now have counting lists with sun factor
2. Kindergartens can set up which sun factors are offered, or turn off the use of sun factor

You can now see how many vacation days your child has already taken, how many are planned, and how many are still available, all visualised in an easy-to-read chart. In addition, you can review detailed breakdowns of other types of absences, such as sick days or extra days off, with quick access to specific dates. This makes it easier than ever to keep track of your child’s holidays and other absences in one place.

We have improved the employee absence feature to make it more readable and user-friendly. The absence selector is now easier to read and navigate.

Post-its are back in style! 📝✨ We’ve polished up post-its in the app, making them smoother, clearer, and nicer to use. Stick, scribble, and stay organized like never before! 🚀

Now the app shows an "unread" indicator on the top corner if the user hasn't opened it yet. Also added more formatting options for post-its like bold, italic, lists and links and employees can format those in the app when editing it.

Other improvements

1. We made the wall and turnus menu available on sidebar for employees that work on multiple kindergartens even if the active kindergarten doesn't support these features, so this way, users don't need to be switching back and forth just to access those menus. When going in, the users are prompt about which kindergarten that supports these features they want to be redirect to;
2. Added more details to contact people cards for parents. Now parents can easily see if other contacts are allowed to login and can be contacted in an emergency.

1. Now the app won't show post-its without content as that might be confusing for parents;
2. Support iOS custom icons for dark mode and tinted mode;
3. Important alerts are now more prominently highlighted, ensuring users never miss a thing;
4. Completely revamped parents album and media screens for better performance and simplicity.

2. Sometimes on About Kid screen for employees the dates displayed "Invalid dates" instead of actual date;
3. Employees couldn't set absence for past dates;
4. Display correct email for employees address list.

1. Added error alert to uploading media on rare cases when user uploaded multiple raw photos.

1. Replaced label on parents day overview screen from 'Came' to 'Delivered';
2. On sidebar we only show turnus button if employee has access to it.
